The job of the artist is to regenerate the dream of her people. Every time she creates, she renews their vision of reality and resets the way they perceive themselves within the world. Arts are essential for the cohesion of the community. They maintain the subtle balance between the possible and the impossible; between the magical and the practical. They bond, sustain, nurture, and trust social health. We can observe today all around us the sad consequences of considering arts as superfluous luxuries. The very core of Life has been negated for too many generations.

But artists are stubborn beasts.

And Life inside of me wants to live.
